Motorcycle Training School in Brooklyn, Bronx, NYC and Queens

For Motorcycle Lessons and Licenses

Ferrari Driving School has taught thousands in the Metropolitan Area to become SAFE motorcycle riders. We have a brand new motorcycle training facility with plenty of open space for beginners to start off yet accessible to heavier traffic for advanced training. We feel that the proper way to learn how to ride is to start off in an enclosed area but then move out into traffic.

How does one get a Motorcycle License?

  • First thing you need to do is get your Motorcycle Permit. Click here to start studying for the Permit Test ONLINE!
  • Once you feel you're ready, go to your nearest D.M.V & take your Permit Test. After you pass the written exam, come to us for whatever training nessasary to be a SAFE rider & pass the exam on the first attempt.
  • We then can schedule and provide the instructor, cycle, & transportation for the exam (ask about our super fast Motorcycle Exams).

What kind of motorcycles does Ferrari use?

  • We have a fleet of cruiser style Yamaha, Kawasaki , & Honda's 125 & 250s.

What is the difference between a cruiser style cycle & a street cycle?

  • Cruiser style cycles you sit upright and steer with your arms, which is easier to learn on than street cycles, which require leaning.

What does 125 & 250 stand for?

  • That is the engine size. Even though the engines are small the techniques we will teach you will allow you to handle a larger & heavier cycle.

How do you teach, does the instructor get on the back of the cycle?

  • No, it's not necessary. 1st we explain what everything is used for on the cycle. Then we will check your balance with our "Walking the Cycle" procedure & then progress from there.

How will a student know if he/she is ready to take an exam?

  • We will give each student a Pretest to make a qualified judgment on what a rider needs to work on.
